Just flew my first pattern today and I'm really happy. I can't await the Widescreen 2D-Panel-BMPs!!!

Btw.: The Fuel-Cutoff-switches are missing in the english quickstart. So if a TU-Newbie follows the quickstart step by step the engines won't start.

Nope. I'm a complete TU-154 newbie and have made 2 cold and dark starts, flights and scary landings. I'm not sure what things the Fuel-Cutoff-switches are - I opened a lot of switches, but following the English quick start guide works perfectly for me.

I haven't had a chance to start her up yet, but I have the morning off and I'm looking forward to getting confused and lost in a sea of cyrillic characters!

I just wanted to say a big thank you to the PT team for all their effort and generousity.

Cheers,
Mark

There's the Czech version up on the PT site. So you may do the same in the Czech cockpit. Дразнящий

@Mike: Sorry, I meant the Engine start/Cutoff levers (Page 136 | "Button" 6)
They are missing in the quickstart-procedure and though engines won't start.

Art,

Have a look at the bottom of page 52 : "Next step is to set the three Engine shutoff levers (6) on the APU panel to the upper position".

The quickstart procedure works perfectly, I've done it step by step to make sure I was right, and it works great.
We often congratulate the authors of the models, the panels, the sounds... but we shouldn't forget the author of the manual : Thank you Michael for your great work!

Aaaaaahhhh...my mistake Смущение Shame on me! Смущение

And I think you know that this was not to offend Michael (at least I'm shure he knows). As everybody else, I really appreciate this manual as the whole Aircraft would be useless for non-russian speakers without this documentation.

heh, I'll take the credit for my 2 pennies if you'll take for the rest 98 of them Хитрый.
I can only wholeheartedly concur with Art, Mike A has been the unsung hero of PT in providing not just the manual without which this side of the forums would probably not have existed (who else remembers the 20 page strong V9.0 manual?? Улыбка ) but the very website we're using right now...

Thanks Michael A for all the years of dedicated support!! Bier!

Big Thank you to all Project Tupolev members!!!!!
Хорошо Хорошо Хорошо Хорошо Хорошо Хорошо Хорошо Хорошо Хорошо Хорошо
I fly it (at least i try Улыбка ) for the last two days and i`m really blown away from the system simulation and the perfect visual model and the excellent flight dynamics. And of course the excellent english manual from mike, without it i would still be sitting on the ground.
I thought i`m good prepared as i fly the B2 since her release but this is really another world of simulation! Now i really know why it`s a four men cockpit.
And also a short question. After studying the pressurization chapter i couldn`t find out how to heat up the cabin before closing all doors and windows and pressurizing the cabin.

That's because you can't Улыбка. You can cool it by opening the windows but not the other way around. To heat it, you'll need hot air (APU or engine bleed)

Thank you Michael.
Does this means you pressurze and heat up the cabin and before opening the doors for boarding passengers and load some baggage and cargo you depressurize and during that time the cabin starts cooling down?
So the loading process should be very fast done if you are e.g. at UNNT with somethingt like -30C Удивление
