Hey guys,

I recently downloaded the Tu-154B2 for FSX from PT, but I do actually want to be able to update the KLN 90B database, as it is showing out of date SIDS/STARS.

How do I do this? Does it use the AIRAC database cycles?

Rafael

You can read the english manual. You will find it in the following folder:
.../FSX Folder/Project Tupolev/FS9 Documents/pttu154_94eng.pdf

Also, you can search in this forum. At your disposal you have 10 years of questions in this forum.

NVU-B3 system is not very complex. It's a dead-reckoning navigation. You only need heading and distance for each leg of the flight. The heading and distance that you will find in the flightplan done with NCalc tool (you can find the installer in Project Tupolev folder). And the system can handle 2 legs at a time. The active leg and the next leg.

The programmers of this amazing aircraft give us an additional tool, a virtual navigator who enter the data in the system. NCalc can export the flightplan to the virtual navigator.

Later, you can learn other things like:
- RSBN correction .
- NVU Aligntment to the magnetic meridian of the destination-

Patience and good luck

The amended RSBN stations are here:

Besides its an interesting flight with a takeoff at MMMX 2300 m altitude.

Kind regards

Walter

REM: The most importantz thing is use NCALC to plan your flight, without that and not being a trained real navigator you hardly can use that navigation methods and instruments.
