Okay I've been all over the internet researching more things about the Tu-154. Now this is always poping up, its talking about a VITAMIN model, etc.
What is that?
Thank you.

Vitamin is a visual model for Tu-154M and it also has VC. It can be merged with Pt-154M therefore you can use this model and VC with PT flight dynamics and panel. Once upon time ago i tried it but it has some advantages/disadvantages namely:
-better on FPS, especially VC
-i can't say anything about external but PT VC is better also gauge refresh rate is fs default on the vitamin
-it has tons of liveries
It depends on the users taste, i use PT original model.
Hope this helps. |

Main difference is that VITAMIN seems to have better model, exterior and interior, but VC gauges aren't 3D as in PT, and that makes low refresh rate of it, so even when your PC have extreme performance and FPS in VC will be over 30, gauges self refresh rate will be for sure low, 2 or 3 FPS, always. Try it and decide yourself, you have to balance between graphics and performance, espesially in VC
shc_04 have wrote more differences, but I tried to focus on particular difference between VCs. Actually I'm using VITAMIN, becouse I fly mostly in 2D and I make only Visual Approches from VC.
Other difference:
- VITAMIN haven't got taxi light
- VITAMIN have none of effects of APU door that you had in PT.
- VITAMIN have uncompatible DOOR opening with PT gauges - minor mistake.
- VITAMIN have sometimes problems with extending and folding landing lights from button assigned by Joystick PT gauge. |

VITAMIN also has better wing flex and way better textures in general i.e. more photoreal parts.
I would not recommend using VITAMIN model unless you are very familiar of merging models with panels and tweaking aircraft.cfg. |

Hi:
Its not the panel itself what must be changed its the aircraft.cfg
If you have an original aircraft.cfg of a Vitamin installation and the one of PT you can start using the Vitamin model with the PT aircraft.cfg. You have to change only the line "model=" and coin a new name. From there trial and error starts:
1) If the plane appears fine
2) The plane floats above or below the runway: Start to change the dismensions according to the Vitamin values
3) The lights? same as 2 and so on....
Easiest solution: If somebody could post here his aircraft.cfg for the merger!
