I managed to finally get my Tu-154 B2 up and running in Windows 10 (Steam).

On every flight, as I gain altitude, my airspeed indicator drops slowly down to zero.

I have been unable to find any deicing (pitot, wings) in the B2.

Do they exists please and if so where are the switches?

Thank you for any help.

Hi John:

In another forum there were complaints about that with no clear answer but the problem disappeared using the switches on the overhead and disregarding the green light for pitot heat which seems not to mean: Pitot heat is on.
The problem relates to the FSX version of the Tu-154 B2.

Kind regards

Hello Walter. Nice to hear from you again.

We seem to be the only two people left on this forum!

Found the switches now. Still enjoy flying the Tu-154.

All the best,

Ah yes, Michael. I'm 70 this year. It seems like just a few years ago that I was really excited to get a copy of Flight Simulator 1 in the early 80s . It came on one 5 1/4 inch diskette!

Hi friends:

As I will comply 73 soon my first FS was on an ATARI play console I bought for Christmas as a present for my daughters. As at that time I was still an active pilot (PPL) it came handy to train some instrument flying around Los Angeles.
The FS was stored in a read only memory "stick" of the size of a match box. Still I have that hard- and software stored.
A friend sent me the real USA flight information publication of California and Wisonsin-Illinois This was back in 1993 (valid 1st of april to 27th of may 1993).

For instrument flying on FS9 these maps still serve e.g. Meigs Field Shore Visual approach Rwy 36.

Kind regards

Walter

Hi,

today, after some succesfully flights, iґve the problem, that my airspeed indicator drops slowly down to 100 - 200 Km/h after takeoff and climb.
At ground, iґve tested the Pitot Heat und turn on it, at taxing.
Airborne, with my airspeed indicator problem, iґve control the Pitot Heat, but now, no voltage on this system, no green light.
