Problems with pa56 control system

Hey gents ! After a longer time i use agsin the 154m v2.03 in fs9.

My problem are jerky and nervous controls with the pa56 system engaged. It appears like severe joystick noise with the vontrols "flatter" around at control inputs. Disengaging the axis on the pa56 system makes the cobtrols smooth again - but then of course autopilot does not work.

At other aircraft or here with pa56 not active there are no joystick problems - tge joystick in fs is deacticated and assigned via tu 154 control menu.

Thanks for any help !!!!

In FS9.cfg check if TurbulenceScale is set to 0.5

ok, i found out that ( after disabling the joystick in fs9 ) i can eliminate the flattering / shaking of the elevator and ailerons with not assigning the axes via the pt 154 joystick setup utility - the controls nevertheless work !

BUT then my elevator trim which i assigned to joystick buttons also stops to work :-(((

so i have the following situation : with elevator axis assigned i have shaking elevator but elevator trim , without elevator axis assigned i have smooth elevator control but no elevator trim !

can anybody help ?

joystick is a saitex cyborg x

you need to assign buttons to the electric elevator trim (not the same as the FS9 default ones). And did you try my previous suggestion?

HI!

1) Did you switch off the joystick with the FS9 menue: IT HAS TO BE OFF! One can be fooled as even with FS9 joystick ON the primary flightcontrols seem to work.
2) Did you install and calibrate the joystick as described in the PT manual?
3) Check your joystick or use another one. Worn out contacts can spoil everything. With other airplanes flown via the FS9 interface one may not notice the failures of your joystick.
4) The trim system of the PT Tu-154s is FS9 NONSTANDART therefore it does not work without the proper joystick upset.
5) Did you follow exactly the prescribed startup procedures as described in the PT-manuel?
6) Show all three trim contol lights "GREEN" before takeoff?
7) Is the AP off before takeoff?

Good luck

Walter

If you find with the joystick utility the function you can assigne the button of your choice. BUT: As I remeber: The Go Around! logic works independently of an input via a button. So select the joystick button you want to programe and scroll in the menue for the function, if there is no such function you can not programe it.

Kind regards

Walter
