Doesn't really help, unfortunately.
There is a difference when I adjust the width but it is still far from working.

Does this has to do something with an activated wideview mode in the FSX.cfg?

Hi Maxil.

I have the same bug...but i have deactivated the wide view in the cfg....nothing...

I think that maybe is the font or the screen resolution.

I fly with 1920x1080 px.

What solved the problem for me is switching my windows locale to Russian. It's Russian computer, and when I changed locale to English KLN suddenly stopped working so I had to switch back.

Christopher you are right. i tought it was only the width of the KLN90. But i changed my system locale to Russian too. I have an english version of W7 and changing the system locale to russian doesn't make too much of a difference. It's still all in english. But the KLN90 works correctly Улыбка

Having the locale in Russian solves a lot of problems, not only with flight simulation but also other niche software not adapted for western computers...
I learned this lesson pretty quick on my older laptop from France which had several issues with Russian software.

Interesting. I will try it. Thanks.

Yeah, solved with the system in russian.....The font is different...I suppose that the gauge use a Russian font or a font named in cyrilic letters.

Anybody know how to fix the gauge?
The source code is public.

Alright folks, after changing my location to Russia, the KLN90B started to work the way it should.
Unfortunately my FSX crashes now always 20min after starting due to an error in kln90b.dll
Anyone an idea? Слёзы

Did you only change the "locale" into russian? Or did you change anything else as well?
What happens in the old situation? Does it also crash after 20 minutes? Or does FSX just keep running? (in the same situation as when fsx crashed while the kln90 was working correctly)
Does it crash just out of the blue? Or while you are clicking the buttons on the kln90?

I did only change the locale into Russian, nothing else.
In the old situation nothing changed. But I wasn't able to do anything with the KLN so maybe it would have happened also if I were able to perform some programming.
Everytime it crashed during Takeoff, climb or taxi, depending on where I was at that time. In no occurrence I was klicking on the KLN, it wasn't even open.

Did you program a route in the kln90? Or not at all? Or try it when you enter a route into it.
Maybe there is some strange route in the memory of the kln90. It does remember the route from the previous flight.

Yes, I did program a route into it and there was no other FPL stored I think.

I am a bit at a loss now unfortunately. You could try to update the navdata if you haven't done so already.
For instance with this one http://www.avsimrus.com/f/for-pilots-19/airac-1403-for-pt-tu-154m-53172.html

I suppose you run Windows 7, 64 bit, with FSX SP2?

Are you fiddling around with SID/STARS? Often these can crash FSX kln90b.dll module... This is the reason why I try to avoid usage of GPS and instead fly with I-21 INS system. In most cases airports have non-Rnav SID/STARS to save you the headache hence you can use radio navigation for them.

I just have tried it again without any SIDs or STARS and with only one Flightplan (the active one).
It still crashed during climb due to an kln90b.DLL Error Слёзы Слёзы Слёзы
