Hi, been some time since I wrote here...., I have found that Stepan Gritsevsky uploaded a single evrsion of his INS on AVSIM.RU, now.... I have installed it on Thomas's Ruth TU-144 and it is working, thou the problem is, it is not alining properly sometimes during flight and the plane happens to wobble all around left to right and viceversa, have tomakes changes to make it fly from the current waypoint to the next other wise, it will do what it wants. Does anybody has had experience with the I-21 as a single INS installation on other aircraft?, I'd like to add it to others including the TU-134 and 154.

Greets.

Kind regrads

Hi, the I-21 that I downloaded includes itself a switch which allows connection to the autopilot of the TU-144, but immediately after switching it on, the plane starts to go to both sides, like if it would know be able to decide if it turn to the right or left, I know the INS will "intercept" the patch from waypoint X to waypoint Y and so on, but in this case it is not able to finally go on one side. This is the one, which techinically is the same of the IL-62.

Hi:

The INS I 21 needs also that its system gauge is installed in the main panel, did you do that? Same problem as with the Groza weather-radar, the visible gauge alone does not work properly, you need the invisible system gauge also, this gauge does the internal calculations.

Kind regards

Walter

P.S.: Its very common to tumble over that stone!

Yep! I did it...., infact I also guided myself by which gauges are used by the one in the IL-62, but still it does not want to do the job, It would be good if Stepan would drop us a clue on what I am doing wrong, Неуверенность

Next question: Is the AP of the Tu-144 capable to cooperate with the I-21? Works the PT-KLN90B? The PT-KLN90B works together with every AP which has a heading bug.

In other airplanes: Does it work? Did you try the CIVA INS?

Yes it does cooperate, I was able to fly a couple of times from UUEE to EGLL but, sometimes it goes loose and will not fly the path to the next waypoint, like ignoring it... Грусть

Maybe thats the problem: The gauges on the cited avsim.ru are for the Tu-154 but the IL-62 has gauges with different names, maybe thats the problem.

Kind regards

Walter
