Hi:

Since the SAMDIM Yak 42 is much less complicated and it navigates enroute by GPS (KLN90B oder Garmin GNS 530) an exampleflight is not so important, taking into account the last chapter of the documentation (the blue with titel "IMPORTANT!") at the SAMDIM homepage. I flew longer ago some times with it but left it for more exotic and exciting planes like the IL- 62, TU 134 124 and what else the 154. In the YAK 42 flights I experienced unwanted reactions while going too fast or too high. That you cannot use the spoilers inflight demands good and conservative descent planning: from 9000 m at least 180 km from destination, better more for slowing down at 10.000 ft/3000 m.

Kind regards

Walter

AND I forgot: Like in almost every Russian simplane: Be polite to the autopilot. Trim every new flightregime first by hand and give it over to the AP afterwards, he will hold that faithfully. While cruising and "fuel" burns off, check from time the trim-state switching off the AP, retrim and switch it on again. I have the suspicion that most of the experienced unwanted effects where also provoked by my omitting that good practice. The YAK-42 has a beauiful panel!

Happy landings
