The file pt_kln90b.cnf has been missing in the installer.

Hi Michael,

The included file is pt_kln90.cnf, shouldn't it be pt_kln90b.cnf?

Chad,
indeed it should!
Strangely enough, I read some posts on the German forum reporting that if you use pt_kln90.cnf without the "b" then the waypoint import process proceeds successfully and will include the missing waypoints....
Didn't get to confirm this myself. Perhaps others may wish to do so.

btw, I'm still trying to write that utility. The only thing that I'm scratching my head over is a way to quickly assign the new waypoints with a region ID. With the method I'm using now, this process is taking AGES.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your continuing work on the utility!

Out of curiosity I tested the update method using the pt_kln90.cnf without the "b" but it was still unsuccessful...

I would assume it did update but simply didn't include the extra points in the isec file. In other words ignored the cnf file altogether.

I'm not so sure about that - or do you mean that the gauge has been changed to look for a different .cnf file? If it means anything the file on my system, installed over a year ago, is pt_kln90.cnf without the "b" . I haven't installed the new 154M yet nor have I yet checked whether my system displays the faults you are talking about. I'll get around to it soon I hope.

My apologies for not checking it...I was (again) too quick to jump the gun.
The file on my system indeed reads pt_kln90.cnf..no "b"
The original thread also refers to the file as pt_kln90.cnf, again - no "b".
So Rick probably has it right.

However, as Chad said - there are still waypoints that are missing after the update that do appear in the isec.txt
