Hi again friends!
I am trying to learn how to navigate the Tu-134, and I read the "easy way to navigate" that was posted here, and that I sould use the excell program to calculate the route. Now, the problem is, I dont have excell.
Is there any other way to calculate navigation, with the correct magnetic settings etc, etc?
And, do You know where I can find approach maps/NAV charts etc, for the major airports that I can download via this site and Avsim.ru?

Best Regards
E.

Hello elizabeth,

I don't know about Excel, but I can answer about the charts.

Here you can find some Jeppesen charts of 2006 for many Russian airports : http://www.avsim.ru/files.phtml?action=download&id=6728&hl=Схемы

And here are some more authentic Russian charts, but older : http://avk.ru/users/alex/new_maps/

Have nice flights!

Hi E.
Enroute charts
http://www.avsim.ru/files.phtml?search=%D0%CD%CA&sopt_mode=or&folder=16&sopt_title=1&sopt_desc=1&sopt_author=1&sopt_fname=1&minrating=

Avsim.ru has also an all-in-one PDF for russian airports approach plates , but I can't recall the name of this file. Maybe someone would know...

you can use NVCalc to give you the parameters.
Atarg and Dtarg will provide Azimuth and distance for RSBN navigation and OZMPUv + S will give you the angle and distance for NAS-1.
Not an easy task though. I'm not new to all this but it still is a challenge to navigate without large deviations.
The AN-24 has some good english documentation for those systems

*edit*
There, Apophis had beat me to it..I knew before too long the link for those charts would pop Улыбка
